Defense of Judge Makintach presents new evidence in Maradona death case

The defense of Judge Julieta Makintach, accused of participating in a documentary that led to the nullification of the trial for the death of Diego Armando Maradona, filed a motion with the Jury of Impeachment to include evidence from the magistrate's mobile phone. The judge had conversations with judges Maximiliano Savarino and Verónica Di Tomasso, as well as with other trial participants. The defense claims this evidence is necessary to counter the testimony of witnesses and to exhibit the content of extracted materials. According to chats from March 17th, Savarino and Di Tommaso knew about the camera that filmed the hearings. Previously, the legal representative of the accused nurse, Dahiana Gisela Madrid, stated that all three judges were aware of the documentary from the beginning.
